Service Description
Whether you're recording a full album, an EP or individual tracks, I bring the technical experience and creative understanding needed to get the best out of your performances. With experience working on large-format consoles, analogue outboard gear and professional recording setups, I focus on capturing great performances while creating an environment where artists can feel comfortable and work creatively. Previous recording credits include The Trews, The Glorious Sons, Envy of None, Tomi Swick, Sourwood. Available for full-project bookings or individual recording sessions, with flexible arrangements to suit your project. Terms of Service:
Rates & Payment: - Sessions are available at an agreed hourly or day rate. - Rates, session duration and booking arrangements will be confirmed before booking. - A deposit may be required to secure your session. - Additional time will be charged at the agreed hourly rate, subject to availability and approval. Scope of Service: - Bookings cover recording engineering for the agreed session time only, including equipment setup, operating recording equipment and capturing performances. - Mixing, mastering, detailed editing, vocal production and additional production work are not included and can be quoted separately. Client Preparation: Clients are responsible for ensuring: - All musicians are prepared and arrangements are rehearsed. - All necessary instruments, equipment and materials are available. - Accurate project information and recording requirements are provided in advance. - All necessary permissions are in place for supplied recordings and materials. Session Time: Sessions begin and end at the agreed times. Setup, soundchecks and pack-down are included within the booked time unless otherwise arranged. Additional hours must be agreed upon and are subject to availability. Delays caused by late arrivals or unprepared performers may reduce recording time. Travel & Additional Expenses: Travel outside the agreed local service area may incur additional charges. Mileage, parking, accommodation, studio hire and equipment rental costs will be discussed and agreed upon before booking. File Delivery: At the end of the booked session, the client receives the recording session in its current state, including audio recorded and saved up to that point. Recordings are not guaranteed to be edited, mixed, mastered or ready for release. Additional editing, file organisation, exports or preparation beyond the standard handover may incur extra charges. Ownership & Cancellations: The client retains ownership of the recordings and master rights, subject to any separate agreements with other contributors. Engineering services do not grant songwriting, publishing or production rights. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Short-notice cancellations may result in the loss of any deposit paid. Rescheduling is subject to availability. All rates, dates, durations and additional requirements will be confirmed before work begins.
